Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative comes to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation, institutions, listening centers, and meeting places will be enhanced.
