Community Support Project Launched in Cornuda to Aid Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces attended the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transports, institutions, listening centers, and gathering points will be strengthened.
