Salò University Launches Centennial Series on Riviera’s Historical Shift to Venice
The Ateneo di Salò has launched a series of events commemorating the 600th anniversary of the Riviera’s transfer to Venice, beginning with a lecture in Desenzano del Garda. The event will take place at the Sala della Musa in Palazzo Brunati, where Professor Ciociola will deliver a lecture and present Clemente Fedele’s book, “Un lago per comunicare,” focusing on the lake as a space of communication.
Organized in collaboration with the City of Desenzano del Garda and supported by the Ateneo Veneto, the event aims to highlight the historical significance of the Riviera’s transfer and its cultural impact. The conference marks the start of a broader initiative to promote local history and culture through talks, publications, and cultural activities.
