Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization initiatives for the weaker categories. Additionally, social transport and institutions, listening and gathering centers, will be enhanced.
