Sirmione Leads Diabetes Prevention with Free Screenings and Evening Concert

The Lions Club Sirmione, led by Maria Carmela Iacono, will host a diabetes prevention day on Saturday, April 18, featuring free screenings from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Largo Goethe. In the evening, a jazz, blues, and swing concert will take place at the Sirmione Congress Palace, starting at 9 p.m.

The event aims to raise awareness amid Italy’s estimated four million diabetics and one million undiagnosed cases. The evening concert will feature the Wednesday Jazz Band, accompanied by the ADBP theater company, with free entry and voluntary donations. The initiative is organized in collaboration with local associations and supported by the ASST Garda and the Sirmione municipality.
