Exploring Montichiari’s Rich Heritage from Medieval to Modern Times

Monteclarense’s “Maggio Monteclarense” festival, organized by the Culture Department in collaboration with local associations, features a revamped “Journey Through Time” with expanded themes covering the 20th century. The program includes medieval reenactments at Castello Bonoris on May 9-10, 19th-century events on May 16-17, and a new focus on the 20th century from May 22-27 across the municipal area.

Key events include a May 22 lecture at Centro Rsi on the 20th century, a discussion on Liberty art with Davide Dotti and Virginia Hill on May 23, and a culinary event on May 24. Additional highlights are a May 12 San Pancrazio Night with music and fireworks, a May 3 exhibit celebrating 200 years of the local band “Carlo Inico,” and a June 2 concert in Piazza Teatro. The festival also features historic reenactments of the Fascia d’Oro Circuit and cultural activities throughout the month.
