Young Foreigners Attack Lakefront in Maderno, Injuring Three Families

Three men from Lumezzane, Martinengo, and Cremona were assaulted with kicks and punches during a disturbance on Lake Maderno’s lakeside promenade. The incident occurred after they asked for the return of a speaker stolen from a girl’s bag near Lungolago Zanardelli, at the former hippodrome area.

The situation escalated when a group of mostly 15- to 16-year-olds, some of whom are foreign nationals, joined the fight, leading to the three men, all around 50 years old, being knocked to the ground. One victim was hospitalized in Gavardo under observation, while the other two received treatment and were discharged with a prognosis of approximately ten days. Police are investigating to identify the perpetrators.
