Baraimbo II Dominates MaxiDolphin Lake Garda Series 2026 in Desenzano

A fleet of seventeen Dolphin 81 yachts competed in the MaxiDolphin Lake Garda Series 2026, part of the Trofeo Santarelli, with four races held over the weekend off Desenzano. The victory went to Baraimbo II (Imperadori-Razzi team, Giovanni Pizzatti), narrowly beating Ociesse (Giovanni Giordo) by one length after a tight competition.

Ociesse, led by Mario Ziliani, finished second, while Twister-Sterilgarda (Flavio Bocchio, Mattia Polettini) secured third place, having led after the first day. In the Timoniere/Armatore category, Paolo Masserdotti aboard S&You took top honors. The series will continue in Gargnano for the Gentlemen’s Cup, with sponsorship from MaxiDolphin, Bossong SPA, Alu4Expo, Sunstripes, Ristorante Capovento, and Hotel Piccola Vela.
