Castiglione delle Stiviere Renames Teatro Foyer in Honor of Maestro Maffizzoni

Castiglione delle Stiviere’s Teatro Sociale concluded its successful 2025/2026 season, marked by sold-out performances and high-quality productions. The municipality announced a new “Aperitivi in Musica” series, featuring five free classical music concerts every Sunday in May at 11 a.m. in the theater foyer, followed by social gatherings with aperitifs.

On April 18, the theater’s foyer was officially named after Maestro Sergio Maffizzoni, a key figure in local music history and creator of the concert series. An artwork by Enos Rizzi was also donated to the town in Maffizzoni’s honor. Local officials praised the initiative as a way to strengthen community engagement and cultural accessibility, inviting residents to participate in upcoming events.
