Laghel-Ceniga Trail Reopens in Arco After Garda Ranger Intervention
The Laghel-Ceniga outdoor route has reopened after restoration by Garda Ranger dell’Apt. The work affected about 150 meters of the trail used by bikers and hikers, including MTB 731 “Anello Garda-Sarca,” MTB 748 “Laghel Trail-Tour,” and the Garda Trek Medium and Top Loop hiking routes, along the Laghel-Ceniga stretch. Degraded paving sections were removed and a new, more solid base laid.
The surface was rebuilt with local stones and a reinforcement structure to improve stability and grip, making the segment more regular and smoother for users. Arco’s Deputy Mayor Marco Piantoni highlighted the timeliness of the intervention and the collaboration between the municipality and Apt to restore pedestrian and bicycle access, while Apt President Silvio Rigatti emphasized Garda Ranger’s ongoing role in maintaining the outdoor network for bikers and hikers.
