Community Support Initiative Launched in Cornuda for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives from the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be strengthened.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.

l’ Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
