Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Community Inclusion
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of entry in June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, with a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
