Gargnano Hosts Creative Market and Debuts Visonà’s The Japanese Cook
Gargnano will host a Creative Market on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 9:00 to 18:00 in Piazza Feltrinelli and Lungolago Zanardelli, followed by the presentation of Lucia Visonà’s novel Il cuoco giapponese at 18:00 in the Sala dell’ex Palazzo Municipale (Piazza Feltrinelli 2). The event, organized by the Municipal Culture Department in collaboration with AMA Associazione APS, is free to attend.
The market will showcase and sell artworks, sculptures, fashion accessories, home decor, jewelry and other crafts by local and non-local artists and artisans. The book presentation will feature Visonà in dialogue with Flavio Casali, with the novel describing Hugo, a young French man who trains in a Parisian kitchen under a mentor, exploring friendship and care through culinary storytelling. The event is free until seats are exhausted.
