Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the June 1996 entry date, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which is planned to last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transport services, social support services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.
