Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Local Government Participation

Start of the agreement and participants

On the day of June 1996’s entry, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total sum allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

Activities and planned objectives

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.

the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, providing surveillance services and coordinating among the different involved components.
