Valeggio Contemporanea 2026 Returns to Valeggio sul Mincio Center with Four Cultural Routes
Valeggio Contemporanea 2026 returns to Valeggio sul Mincio on June 6-7, 2026 after attracting more than 7,000 visitors in 2025; a preview event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3 at 20:30 at Teatro Smeraldo to launch Paolo Crepet’s book. The festival is promoted by the Associazione Percorsi APS Valeggio sul Mincio and the Comune di Valeggio sul Mincio – Assessorato alla Cultura.
The official opening is Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 with a ribbon-cutting and four thematic routes unfolding from the historic center: Valeggio Legge with about 30 independent publishers and presentations, Valeggio LiMeS featuring books, vinyl records and prints, Valeggio Riflette centered on the 2026 theme “Persone invisibili” (Invisible People), and Valeggio Gusto with gastronomic stands in Piazza Garibaldi. Culinary initiatives include the presentation of the first Tortello al Custoza and a tasting dinner curated by ARV, with participation from Mayor Alessandro Gardoni, President Marileno Brentegani, and culture counselor Antonio De Gobbi.
