Desenzano Opens New PNRR-Funded Employment Center

The new Desenzano Job Center (Centro per l’Impiego di Desenzano) opened in March 2026 in Desenzano del Garda, with 500,000 euros in funding from the PNRR Mission 5 “Inclusion and Cohesion.” Regione Lombardia acts as the programming and monitoring authority, the Province of Brescia as the delegated implementing body for operational execution, and the Comune di Desenzano del Garda as the second-level delegated body for design, works, and space provisioning. Attendees at the inauguration included Daniela Edalini, Simona Tironi, Fabio De Marco, Barbara Lodi Rizzini, Guido Malinverno, and staff from the Employment Centers.

The building covers about 560 square meters and underwent renovation from June 2025 to March 2026. Interior space was redistributed, systems were renewed, a new climate control system was installed, and accessibility was improved. Inside, the center features welcome areas, public service offices, interview and orientation rooms, training spaces, and a meeting room, with works overseen by the implementing authorities.
