Desenzano’s Nursing Degree Open Afternoon Attracts About 30 Participants

The first Open Afternoon for the Nursing Degree program was held on April 17 at the Desenzano campus, drawing about 30 attendees from among youths and families. The event offered information sessions and hands-on labs to introduce the nursing degree pathway and the nursing profession.

The session opened with “Being a Nurse Today” and featured nurses Federica Baroni and Gabriele Rubes, along with institutional and academic representatives such as Paolo Schiavini, socio-health director; Mara Radavelli, director; Donatella Placidi, course president; and Emanuele Allemand, chief of Medicine in Gavardo. Participants engaged in practical activities including blood sampling, BLSD maneuvers, and vital-sign measurements, led by students and clinical tutors. The event, organized for the course’s first edition, involved Carla Paghera, Michele Mancini, Daniela Venere Napoli, Gabriella Franzoni, Matteo Prandelli, director of teaching, and administrative staff Giuliana Vezzani and Daniela Girelli, and took place in the afternoon.
