Alice on the Island of Wonders Debuts in Garda with Immersive Art Exhibition at Villa Cavazza

Alice on Wonderland Island, a new art program inaugurated today on Isola del Garda, transforms the Cavazza family’s neo-Gothic villa into an immersive journey by nine contemporary Italian artists. The exhibition occupies caves, ancient monks’ cells, the greenhouse, and the Italian gardens, presenting works in painting, photography, site-specific installations, decorated porcelain, and sculpture inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic.

Each intervention interprets the paradox and absurdity of the nineteenth-century text through a guided itinerary that moves visitors through the island’s historic spaces. Graphics and the catalog are curated by Giusi Zane; the initiative is promoted by the Cavazza family and is open to the public from today.
