Desenzano’s Cristian Coletti Finishes Eighth in His Category at the Great Wall Marathon
The Great Wall Marathon, held on May 16, 2026 along the historic Great Wall in China, saw Italian mental coach Cristian Coletti of Desenzano finish 8th in his category.
The course is known for more than 5,000 steps, steep climbs, technical descents, and hot, humid conditions that tested both body and mind. Coletti said his muscles locked up but he relied on mental strength to keep going, describing the experience as “a journey inside myself” and the finish as a “personal victory.”
