CAI Salò Hosts Meeting on Alta Via dell’Adamello and Trail 601
An evening presentation on the Alta Via dell’Adamello and trail 601 is planned for Thursday, May 21 at 8:30 p.m. at the CAI Salò headquarters, 49 Via Fantoni. The event features Ruggero Bontempi, author of the guide “Alta Via dell’Adamello. Natura e storia sul sentiero 601,” with Dr. Agr. Guido Calvi, head of the Adamello Park service for the Valle Camonica Community. Attendance is free until capacity is reached.
Bontempi will outline the route, divided into ten long stages through highly natural environments, noting delicate stretches on open ground and highlighting historical testimonies tied to the Guerra Bianca. The trail is the park’s main hiking route, historically known as Sentiero Numero Uno (signage 601).
