San Felice del Benaco Kicks Off Pike-Fishing Walk Highlighting Local Traditions
Via del Luccio, an initiative organized by Le Vie del Benaco, will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in San Felice del Benaco. The event offers an easy guided walk to explore Lake Garda traditions, historic crafts, and Portese’s fishing culture, with a 9:00 a.m. start from the parking lot on Via Marconi and a focus on Garda fishing and pike fishing.
Participants will meet Ugo Cobelli at Portese harbor; Cobelli is a fisherman by passion and a member of the Club Pescatori del Benaco, who will accompany the group with insights into local fishing traditions. The excursion lasts about six hours and ends with a free tasting of Luccio alla Portesina. The guided walk and tasting are free, while a credential contribution of 8 euros is requested. Organizers advise bringing trekking shoes, water, and weather-appropriate clothing.
