Visit Brescia Launches Chinese Tourism Push at Shanghai ITW
Visit Brescia makes its debut in the Chinese market by presenting at ITW Shanghai on May 25, with the Brescia Destination Management Organization (DMO) led by CEO Graziano Pennacchio and Director Manuel Gabriele, offering a dedicated booth to meet about 50–55 Chinese buyers from tour operators and specialized agencies, among a select Italian operator panel of roughly 15.
The program centers on high-demand segments: art and culture (UNESCO sites and historic villages), enogastronomy (Franciacorta wines and fine dining), and nature and outdoor activities (lakes and valleys). Visit Brescia plans to continue outreach at ITB China, May 26–28, 2026 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, for B2B meetings with industry professionals.
