Frida Kahlo Immersive Exhibition Opens at Verona’s Teatro Ristori Through Oct. 11, 2026
The immersive multimedia exhibition Frida Kahlo Verona, titled “Frida Kahlo | A Revolutionary Life,” opens at Teatro Ristori in Verona and runs from May 30 to October 11, 2026. The show offers a visual and sonic poem dedicated to the Mexican artist, presented in 13 non-chronological stages and employing projections, hand-drawn elements, and artificial intelligence to reconstruct moments such as her childhood, the meeting with Diego Rivera, and the tram incident known as “Frida vive.”
Produced by CREA srl Impresa Sociale with support from Fondazione Cariverona, the project is created by Massimiliano Siccardi, Luca Longobardi, and Vittorio Guidotti and forms the latest entry in a trilogy that previously highlighted Van Gogh and Klimt. The sound component, curated by Luca Longobardi, blends classical works with contemporary interpretations to accompany the visitor’s journey from June through October 2026.
