Taste of Culture Returns to Toscolano Maderno’s Paper Museum on June 15 for Traditional Dish Tastings in the Valle delle Cartiere
Taste of Culture returns to the Museo della Carta in Toscolano Maderno on Monday, June 15, with a guided tasting path focused on traditional dishes in the Valle delle Cartiere. Promoted by the Comune and Pro Loco, the event runs from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; tickets are 40 euros (30 euros for the non-alcoholic menu), available in presale until June 12, with on-site purchase subject to availability. If bad weather occurs, the evening will be postponed to Monday, June 22.
The gastronomic lineup includes samples of extra-virgin olive oil, egg-pasta sheets with vegetables, beef tartare with pork salami, coregone and citron salad, trout club sandwich, crepes with Tremosine cheese and summer black truffle, egg raviolone stuffed with coregone, saffron and confit tomatoes, and desserts such as basil semifreddo and cardamom ice cream, plus local wines, cocktails, and liqueurs. A guided tour of the Museo della Carta is planned, with live music by the trio Tre Luppoli in the museum bar garden; the event will be repeated on August 31 at the Toscolano port as Taste of Riviera.
