Mille Miglia 2026 Kicks Off in Brescia, Salò Stop Set for Stage One

Mille Miglia 2026 kicks off Tuesday, June 9 in Brescia, marking the 44th edition of the historic race which runs June 9–13 along the traditional eight-stage route between Northern and Central Italy, with more than 400 crews taking part. The opening leg from Brescia to Padua departs late morning from Viale Venezia and passes through Val Trompia, Valle Sabbia and the Brescia shore before reaching Salò, San Felice del Benaco, Manerba, Moniga, Desenzano and Sirmione on the way to Veneto.

In Salò, cars are due from 14:00, reaching San Felice del Benaco around 15:00 with stamp checks in Via Umberto Zerneri and events at Parco Donne della Costituente from 11:00 to 23:00. Manerba is expected 15:00–16:00; Moniga in the afternoon via Piazza S. Martino and the harbour; Soiano around 15:00 with no road closures; Padenghe about 15:30; Desenzano hosts the Ferrari Tribute at 14:15 and the Mille Miglia at 15:45 with a stamp check on Lungolago Cesare Battisti; Sirmione hosts the Ferrari Tribute at 14:30 and the first historic cars around 16:15, with the last around 20:00; Peschiera around 15:00. Temporary traffic changes are planned in the towns along the route.
