San Martino d/B Celebrates 60th Anniversary of Sports Club with Events in Desenzano
Gruppo Sportivo San Martino d/B (San Martino d/B Sports Group), an amateur sports association founded in 1966, is celebrating its 60th anniversary in Desenzano. Its board is composed entirely of volunteers and is chaired by Michele Bordignon. The group counts nearly 400 members, including athletes, collaborators, and supporters, and runs sections in football, volleyball, tennis, and cycling.
Among its upcoming events is the traditional Festa del Vino, scheduled for August 11-16 and now in its 49th edition, alongside a local vintage tournament. Born from a group of friends in 1966, the association has undergone social and sporting changes and has broadened its offering to involve athletes of all ages.
