Lake Garda Music Excellence 2026 to Host Prestigious Concerts in Desenzano and Sirmione

Garda Lake Music Excellence 2026 returns from June 27 to July 25, featuring the Prestige Academy and the Garda Summer Tunes concert series. The festival, staged between Sirmione and Desenzano and hosted in iconic sites such as the Grotte di Catullo, Castello Scaligero and the Chiesa di San Biagio, blends masterclasses with public concerts and brings together artists including Roman Simovic, Diyang Mei, Wen-Sinn Yang, Francesca Dego and Ettore Pagano (winner of the 2026 Queen Elisabeth Competition). It is supported by RAI Lombardia with Rai Radio3 as media partner; the edition opens June 27 with the Prestige Academy and includes a public preview on June 28 in Desenzano with the Piacenza Youth Orchestra and Mayor Luisa Lavelli.

Key dates include July 3 at the Grotte di Catullo, where I Solisti Aquilani perform Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons; July 10 in the Chiesa di San Biagio with academy teachers performing Mozart and Brahms; July 13 “Mozart at the Castle” in the Cortile del Castello Scaligero with the Quartetto della Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano; and July 25’s final concert with I Pomeriggi Musicali accompanying the festival’s best Prestige Academy student. Other highlights feature a July 22 recital by Francesca Dego and Francesca Leonardi, a July 8 tango project at the Grotte di Catullo, and June 29–30 masterclasses and chamber concerts at the Rambotti Museum Cloister with Mirei Yamada and Mario Montore.
