ALDI Opens New Store in Sirmione, Creating 10 Jobs

ALDI has opened a new store in Sirmione, Lombardy, on a 982-square-metre site about 1 km from the historic centre. The outlet, built on the redevelopment of a longtime boat-sales business, with the project started in 2025, is energy class B and will be open daily from 8:30 to 20:30. The area features a bike lane along the road and offers 60 free parking spaces, including 3 reserved for people with disabilities and 1 for pregnant women or new parents; the project involves ALDI and local operators and will create 10 new jobs.

Inside, the store carries roughly 2,000 SKUs with wider aisles to ease cart movement and will run inauguration promotions, including deep-discount offers for the first four days. Customers can also receive four €5 coupons on a minimum €30 spend during the first four weeks. The Sirmione opening brings ALDI’s Lombardy network to 69 stores (14 in Brescia province) and raises regional employment to 978 staff.
