Pam at Piazza Tre Novembre: Five-Metre Pole and Mini-Batons for the Parade

The 46th edition of *Pam, bondola e vim* will take place on Sunday, June 21, in Piazza Tre Novembre, with the association *La Bacionela* staging its traditional five-metre bondola. For the first time, it will be flanked by two smaller reinforcing mini-bondole, a change introduced to manage any leftover product due to attendance fluctuations. Organisers said the total amount of mortadella remains about 12 quintals.

The parade will depart at 9:00 from Largo Medaglie d’Oro, escorted by the fire brigade and accompanied by the Banda di Cavedine. Around 10:00, the mortadella will be turned into approximately 20,000 sandwiches and distributed free of charge, alongside 12,000 litres of wine and other drinks, until supplies run out or participation ends—typically between 17:30 and 18:00. Attendees may leave a voluntary donation to support the association’s charitable activities.
