Disabled Boat Near Manerba Rescued by Salo’s Rescue Team

A disabled boat near the Rocca di Manerba was rescued on Friday, June 19 at 22:50. The Salò Fire Brigade’s water rescue team, in radio contact on VHF 16 with the Coast Guard of Salò, intervened after receiving a distress report and confirmed via GPS that the vessel had drifted about 250 meters toward the Verona coastline.

There were four adults, two children, and two dogs on board. After locating the boat, rescuers found everyone in good health, checked the engine, and resolved a minor technical issue that allowed the propulsion to restart. The craft was then escorted to Moniga port, where the operation ended without further problems.
