SAT Riva del Garda marks Centenary with commemorative event at San Pietro al Monte Calino

San Pietro al Monte Calino will host an open-to-all celebration on Sunday, June 28, marking the centenary of SAT Riva del Garda and commemorating the inauguration of Rifugio San Pietro on June 29, 1930. The event, promoted by SAT Riva del Garda, recalls the historical arrival of around 1,500 people, based on a photograph by Silvio Pozzini and a account by Mauro Grazioli.

The program includes a Mass at 11:45, followed by a pasta party offered by the Alpini of Tenno. The day will also feature guided excursions for different experience levels and age groups, taking participants along trails through woods and villages in the Tennese area to reach San Pietro, as part of the wider centenary activities.
