New Dog Area in Cisano: Bardolino Adds Green Spaces, Playgrounds and a Water Fountain on Strada Vignola
Bardolino has made a new dog park available in Cisano, in Strada Vignola, creating a fenced, shaded area designed for safe exercise and social interaction for pet owners. The site was developed from an existing green space and includes facilities intended for year-round use.
The project covers about 500 square metres and keeps the existing trees and vegetation, with partial fencing and benches, a drinking-water tap, and equipment for movement and dog training, including games such as slalom and rings. The entrance and exit are protected by a double gate system to improve safety, while natural shaded areas support comfort for users.
The mayor, Daniele Bertasi, said the work reflects a commitment to the community and improves quality of life through a local service. Councillor Martina Meschieri, responsible for ecology, added that the design prioritised functionality, safety, and environmental respect by integrating the existing greenery; she also noted that a parking area for residents and additional children’s play equipment nearby are planned to further expand the area into a more inclusive space for families.
