Tremosine Launches HelloBus On-Demand Service for Public Transport Links

Tremosine has launched a pilot “on-demand” bus service called **HelloBus**, in partnership with the local public transport agency in Brescia, to serve residents and provide connections between **Tremosine** and **Limone** along the lakeshore. Passengers book trips through the **HelloBus** app by entering their starting point and destination within a defined area, while the software optimises routes in real time to group riders with similar itineraries and reduce waiting times and unnecessary travel.

The trial is enabled by a **Memorandum of Understanding** between the municipality and the agency, and by existing contracts with the local TPL operator **ConsorzioTrasporti Brescia Nord** and its subsidiary **ARRIVA ITALIA S.p.A.**, with IT support and the app provided by **Via Technologies**. The service will cover selected existing stops in Tremosine and designated stops in Limone, connect inland hamlets to the lakeshore, and could be extended—subject to resolving technical issues—to **Campione**. The initiative was presented by tourism councillor **Mario Planchesteiner** and agency president **Giancarlo Gentilini**.
