Valentina Berengo closes LibroLago in Manerba del Garda with a dialogue between Teresa Ciabatti and the curator

The summer book series “LibroLago,” curated by Valentina Berengo for the Library of Manerba del Garda, will conclude on July 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the parish church of S. Maria in Valtenesi, where Berengo will interview author Teresa Ciabatti about her novel “Donnaregina” (Mondadori). The book is a finalist for this year’s Premio Strega.

The event follows a July 6 meeting with Francesco Vidotto that drew 120 attendees across the four naves of the same church. “Donnaregina” centers on a journalist tasked with interviewing a man accused of serious crimes, who is instead confronted with his vulnerability and with family traces that lead her through the streets of Naples. The initiative is promoted by the municipal administration, with support from the library delegate Raffaella Bertini.
