Fire on Via Mantova in Lonato: Road Closures and Public Safety Alerts

Lonato issued an updated municipal order after a fire at a facility on Via Mantova, extending precautionary measures to residents and businesses within a one-kilometre radius of the blaze. The order, aligned with instructions from ATS, recommends keeping windows closed, limiting time outdoors, and avoiding the consumption of water or food that may have been exposed to ash and particulate matter.

The ordinance also prohibits the consumption of fruit and vegetables from private gardens until health authorities complete their checks. It requires that domestic and farmyard animals be kept indoors where possible, with no access to water or feed left outside, and introduces a temporary ban on stopping and transiting along Via Mantova, Via Mantova Traversa I, and Via Pietra Pizzola following the incident involving Valli Spa. Authorities are carrying out inspections and will provide official updates on the situation.
