Confesercenti Lombardia Reboots Leadership as Quaresmini and Maggioni Boost Tourism and Services

Confesercenti Lombardia has confirmed new leadership roles: Barbara Quaresmini was appointed regional president of the association, while Andrea Mattia Maggioni became president of AssoTurismo Confesercenti Lombardia, strengthening representation for Eastern Lombardy and the province of Brescia.

Quaresmini, an entrepreneur in retail, also serves as national president of Impresa Donna Confesercenti. Maggioni, a professional in tourism and food service, will coordinate the tourism categories within Confesercenti and promote dialogue with institutions, setting operational priorities and policy proposals. He currently holds multiple positions, including deputy vice president (vicario) of Confesercenti Lombardia Orientale, national vice president of FIEPeT Confesercenti, and vice president of Visit Brescia. The region reports 22.36 million arrivals and 56.7 million overnight stays, with 68% of visitors from abroad and foreign spending nearing €10 billion; Brescia accounts for 12.5 million annual overnight stays, 72% from abroad, with the tourism sector contributing an estimated €4–6 billion to the provincial GDP.
