Brescia Highway Police Seize 130 kg of Spoiled Food Bound for Garda Restaurants

The Brescia Highway Police, with support from ATS Brescia staff, has seized and destroyed about 130 kg of spoiled food intended for restaurants across several roads in the Gardesana area. The products intercepted included meat, fish, vegetables, tortellini, creams and bread, and were rendered unfit for consumption.

Inspections found poor hygiene on the vehicles, lack of maintenance, failure to follow self-check procedures, and non-compliance with required storage temperatures during transport. As a result, the distribution was blocked and the food deemed unsuitable was destroyed.
