Luca Pacchiotti Wins Silver at Costa Brava Worlds, Becomes iQFOiL Under-17 Vice Champion

Luca Pacchiotti, vice world champion U17 iQFOiL, won silver for Fraglia Vela Malcesine at the iQFOiL Youth & Junior World Championships 2026 in the Costa Brava. In the Under 17 final, Pacchiotti finished second after a 15-race series in an event that brought together youth sailors from multiple countries.

The regatta featured predominantly medium-to-light winds and temperatures above 40°C, testing both endurance and technique. Pacchiotti’s teammates placed as follows in the Under 17: Malik Gueye 33rd and Giordano Rigotti 37th; in the Under 19, the best results for the club were Lorenzo Maroadi 15th, Elia Rossi 48th, and Mathias Bortolotti 102nd. Coach Davide said the outcome reflects months of training, and the team has already returned to the water to prepare for upcoming international events.
