ParkinsOnLake Sailing Course Presented in San Felice del Benaco for People With Parkinson’s

A new sailing course for people with Parkinson’s disease was presented on Tuesday, 14 July, at the San Felice del Benaco municipal council hall. The initiative, called **ParkinsOnLake**, was developed through a collaboration between **ASST Garda Neurology** and **Hyak APS**, and was presented in a press conference attended by Mayor **Marzia Manovali** and **Roberta Chiesa**, ASST Garda’s General Director.

The program will take place at the **Portese Sailing Club**, with **five therapeutic outings** scheduled for **18, 19, 24, 25 and 26 July 2026**. Led by **Dr. Massimo Biacca** (ASST Garda neurologist), the sessions will include short sailing trips guided by experienced crews, with **specialized healthcare staff** on board and caregiver support where needed. The project is organized by **ASST Garda** and **Hyak APS**, with support from **ParkinZone APS** and the patronage of the **Fondazione LIMPE per il Parkinson ETS**, **Azione Parkinson Brescia (APB)**, and the **Municipality of San Felice del Benaco**.
