Bussolengo Summer Roundup Promotes Pesca di Verona IGP and City Events
The summer events programme promoted by the Municipality of Bussolengo has been presented at Verona Province’s “Sala Rossa”, with a calendar focused on Verona Peach IGP. The initiative, illustrated by the local administration together with its partners, includes events designed to involve residents and visitors throughout the season, including the “Festa d’Estate” and the Inter-municipal “Mostra delle Pesche” (Peach Exhibition).
The programme kicks off on Saturday, 18 July with the “Notte Bianca”, followed by “Festa d’Estate” from 23 to 27 July in Piazza 26 Aprile and Piazza Nuova. Highlights include opening night on Thursday 23 July with the Corpo Bandistico Città di Bussolengo, a concert by AL‑B Band on Friday 24 July, guided visits to the churches of San Valentino and San Rocco on Saturday 25 from 18:00, the “Profumo di Pesca” dinner in Piazza Nuova, and a DJ set by Radio Adige Show; Sunday 26 features the Bussolengo Fiorito awards and performances by “Belle Voci di Verona”, while Monday 27 hosts a conference at Villa Spinola on enhancing local agri-food products. The Inter-municipal Peach Exhibition runs on Saturday 1 August with Pescantina, and the season ends on Sunday 16 August with the San Rocco Music Festival, alongside religious celebrations and a traditional ballroom night with Orchestra Grimolizzi. The calendar spotlights Verona Peach IGP grown by nearly 400 farms and promoted by the Bussolengo and Pescantina Foundation for the Promotion and Enhancement of Agricultural Products.
