Cyclist Injured on Rocks During Storm Between Riva and Torbole

A cyclist was injured after falling off the edge of the cycle path between Riva del Garda and Torbole during the night of July 18–19. The crash happened at around 00:05 in the Madonnina area, while a storm affected the Upper Garda region.

According to reports, a friend alerted Italy’s emergency number 112. Rescue teams from Trentino Emergenza, the Riva del Garda Fire Department, and the State Police responded: firefighters lowered a paramedic by about eight meters to reach the injured woman, then recovered her and took her to the emergency room. Her conditions were not disclosed.
