Eight-Month-Old in Torbole Swallows Detergent in Car

A child of eight months in Torbole was taken ill after ingesting detergent on Thursday, July 23, while in a car near the entrance of the Circolo Vela along State Road 249. The alarm was raised shortly after 10 a.m.

Volunteer firefighters from Riva del Garda arrived on scene to provide the first aid. The child was conscious and was then handed over to Red Cross staff, who used an ambulance for transport and medical checks. The incident occurred during a particularly busy morning for local responders, who were also involved in other calls between Riva del Garda and Torbole.
