Attempted Theft in Salò Sparks Panic at Gasparo Complex Apartment

A burglary attempt was reported at 4:30 pm two days ago at an apartment in the Complesso Gasparo, a historic residential building in a busy central area. A couple inside the home heard the doorbell and then noticed someone tampering with the lock of a reinforced front door.

Residents struck the door forcefully, causing the suspects to flee before they could gain entry. Two days after the incident, the family said they are still shaken and concerned, and asked for increased police presence and tighter checks in the area.
