Snoopy Takes Over Moniga

A new pixel mosaic featuring Snoopy has been installed in Moniga del Garda by Alberto Rovati, known as Rovatinsky. The artwork depicts the Peanuts character and is part of a street art project launched in 2018, with installations inspired by video games and pixel art in public spaces.

With the Moniga piece, Rovatinsky’s geolocated mosaics on an online map rise to over 370. Most works are in the province of Brescia, but his installations are also found in other Italian and European cities, including Milan, Cremona, Bologna, Barcelona, Hamburg, and Modena, as well as locations in Croatia and Ibiza. Rovati also creates ceramic sculptures and objects and recently exhibited at Mo.Ca in Brescia.
