Minerva Musicae in Manerba: Fifth Edition Wraps With Budget Report

Minerva Musicae has closed its fifth edition in Manerba del Garda, running from July 12 to July 25 across locations including Isola di San Biagio, Giardini San Giorgio, the Rocca natural park and Piazza Aldo Moro. The festival combined jazz concerts with the travelling photo exhibition “Jazz sotto le stelle,” curated by Luciano Rossetti.

The lineup featured Christian McBride and Julian Lage, Andrea Bacchetti and Dado Moroni, Antonio Farao, Al Di Meola, and the Bill Frisell Trio with Greg Tardy, alongside the Brass band of the 3rd Carabinieri Regiment “Lombardia,” which performed on July 25 in Piazza Aldo Moro. Concerts took place around the area, from the lakeside to the Rocca.

The summer cultural calendar continues until August 22 with free “Tribute Concerts” in Piazza Silvia, and a Drive In event at Campo Rolli on August 2 and 3. In case of bad weather, alternative venues are planned at Palazzetto dello Sport and Piazzale Martiri delle Foibe.
