Valeggio Accident: 43-Year-Old Injured in Neck by Circular Saw

A 43-year-old man was injured in Valeggio sul Mincio on Wednesday morning, August 5, after a circular saw accident on Via Marco Polo left him with a deep neck wound. The incident occurred while he was cutting a small pit, when the tool allegedly bounced back and struck him, with the exact cause still under investigation.

Emergency services were alerted at around 9 a.m. SUEM 118 dispatched an ambulance with nursing staff and the air rescue helicopter, while Carabinieri and SPSAL technicians also arrived on scene. After initial treatment, the injured man was taken urgently to Peschiera del Garda Hospital by helicopter, and authorities will now determine the full dynamics of the accident and assess workplace safety conditions.
