Salò Puts Morricone in the Spotlight at Ferragosto’s 49th Grand Concert

Ennio Morricone’s music will be featured at Salò’s 49th Ferragosto Grancocerto, taking place in Piazza Duomo. The concert will be led by conductor Angelo Bolciaghi with the Salò Wind Orchestra, and will include pieces from *The Ecstasy of Gold*, *For a Few Dollars More*, *Mission*, *The Legend of 1900*, *Nuovo Cinema Paradiso* and *Uccellacci e uccellini*, alongside *Ballad of Sacco and Vanzetti*.

The event will also feature multi-instrumentalist singer Giulio Garghentini. It will be preceded by the Baby Band conducted by Barbara Galligioni, and the programme will trace key Morricone collaborations with film, from Sergio Leone’s westerns to the more intense scores of *Mission* and *Sacco and Vanzetti*.
