Gonzaghiana in Maderno Blends Poetry, Music and Theatre

Gonzaghiana Maderno returns on Saturday, 16 August at 8:30 pm in the Vicolo Portichetto on Via Benamati, Toscolano Maderno, with an evening dedicated to the history of the Gonzaga family. The event is organised by the Christian Hubmann Association and staged by the theatre company “i Bràvi”.

The show blends poetry, prose, music and dance, focusing on the human side of the Mantuan noble house—love, passions, rivalries and affairs—while keeping broader politics in the background. Created from an idea by Annamaria Bogna and directed by Fiorenzo Savoldi, the performance uses an ironic, theatrical approach to revisit personal relationships and their political and dynastic consequences.
