Desenzano Football Club Unveils Squad for Lake Garda Season

Desenzano Football Club presented its new season at Coco Beach Club in Lonato, with President Roberto Marai, coach Matteo Gaburro, and representatives from the Desenzano del Garda municipal administration in attendance. Coming off the club’s Serie C title won on May 6, Desenzano will play its first professional campaign, starting on Sunday, August 23 at 6:00 p.m. at Silvio Piola Stadium against Pro Vercelli.

The event also marked the previous season and outlined new club developments, including youth and women’s teams, along with new kits inspired by the lake’s waves and the slogan “Noi siamo L’Ago.” After a Coppa Italia win at Lecco, Desenzano will host its early home matches at Ospitaletto while its own facility is being updated. The group also includes Lumezzane and Union Brescia, for a total of six local derby matches with Brescia-area rivals.
